Find is not working when annotations/features attached to aignment in unknown circumstances

      Description

      User [~vincentfourmond] reports (see https://discourse.jalview.org/t/find-doesnt-work-in-large-alignments/2092/4) that Find is not working in certain circumstances:
      "I can look for things in a large alignment, but if I load a small alignment and some annotations, I cannot find anymore."

      I haven't been able to replicate this using the 2.11.3.2 executable jar (from the website) and a java 8 JRE and using the sample files provided (see find_bug.zip attached). Only tested on macOS so far, so more environment information will be needed.
