      Description

      new alignments are often imported which involve sequences already contained in an existing dataset. In this case, Jalview should merge the new alignment into the existing sequence dataset, preserving dataset normalisation (by re-associating sequences with same ID + sequence substring) rather than creating a new dataset for that alignment.
