Ctrl-click-drag on overview creates a new view of that area of the alignment

It'd be really nice to do the above! (jimwishes!). Ctrl-Click creates a rubber-band area that the user can drag to specify which part of the alignment she wishes to view. On release, a new view is created with just that area shown (all else is hidden off).

If sequences and columns are already hidden, there could be some other modifier for 'keep hidden sequences hidden' and/or 'keep hidden columns hidden'. Not sure how this might work with multiple hidden views - probably depend on the input focus.
