Description
Currently, no checks are made to ensure the input data for a JABA MSA service is valid. This should be done before the service is invoked, to avoid confusing the external services.
A valid input is: minimum of two sequences with at least one non-gap character in each sequence.
There are some additional nuances - JABA MSA services may become unhappy if exotic amino acid or nucleotide symbols are submitted (see JWS-63 for the corresponding service metadata issue about this)
