      Description

      A new dialog box opened from the 'Select' menu via a menu item such as 'Select by annotation...' that allows the user to create or modify the current column selection according to the labels or quantities in an alignment annotation row.

      This dialog would reuse some elements from the 'Colour by annotation' dialog box (from the colours menu): * a drop down menu allows the user to pick the annotation row to be used for selecting columns
      * a slider + threshold option allows ranges on the alignment annotation to be selected
      -> stick to the same above/below threshold for the moment, in the future more complex ranges could be specified

      Additional annotation queries that this dialog might support include:
      * select columns according to secondary structure type (helix, sheet, coil or base-paired/unpaired).
      * select according to matching regex on label or description
