Description
It is sometimes necessary to very precisely control which alignment view provides the colouring for parts of a 3d or 2d structure visualization. A menu is not suitable for this because it only allows a limited number of types of interaction, and its transient nature makes it difficult for a user to configure several different view combinations without a great number of mouse clicks (at least two for each view selection, plus moving the mouse).
