Secondary structure not available after dragging a 3D structure onto a sequence to associate it

Dragging a 3D structure onto a sequence and hitting 'OK' to the 'Associate files with sequences of same name' dialog should make any secondary struture annotation available for viewing via 'Add reference annotation'. It doesn't seem to in 2.11.3.x ...
