Description
1. Import alignment.
2. Hide some columns.
3. Open Find dialog to search for a pattern, type pattern that spans a hidden region and press return.
Unexpected Result: Jalview tells you no matches were found, because the Find dialog by default has 'Ignore hidden gapped columns' enabled.
This means people may be puzzled if they don't actually remember to check the 'Ignore hidden regions' option before hitting return.
The Find dialog already provides some context-configuration, by enabling/disabling this option according to the presence of hidden columns in the view currently associated.
Perhaps the Find dialog should automatically enable the option when first opened if there are hidden columns in the alignment ?
