Description
Jalview keeps a record of the filenames for any user defined colourschemes that have been created (and saved) on the user's system. When it starts up, it parses all available user defined colourschemes in order to populate the Colours menu.
If Jalview can't find a colourscheme file, or otherwise has problems processing it, then it will remove the file from the list in the preferences. That means, if someone saves a colourscheme on a network share that is not always available, they will lose that colourscheme from their preferences, and have to manually import it again.
In these specific situations, Jalview could detect paths that are valid but currently inaccessible and rather than remove the entry, report it as 'inaccessible' via the console.
