Description
There are a number of situations where a jalview user may wish to specify one or many species, or taxonomic groups. A single reusable dialog is needed which allows:
* a single taxon to be located and specified (e.g. by typing and mouse)
* many taxa to be specified (multiple selects and keystrokes to help navigation)
* taxons and clades to be specified in combination (selects on internal taxon nodes are allowed)
* some taxons in a clade to be excluded (e.g. Saccharomyces NOT Cervisiae)
* a subset of all available taxa to be offered for selection (e.g. if only certain taxa are available, only these should be shown)
* a single taxon to be located and specified (e.g. by typing and mouse)
