cannot show reference annotation in several views on same alignment

Once 'Add reference annotation' has been performed on one view of an alignment, it cannot be performed for any of the other views, making it impossible to selectively add reference annotation to particular layouts for an alignment.

Steps to reproduce:

1. import the exampleFile_2_7 project
2. Select all sequences in any view, and apply the 'Add reference annotation' option from the Select sequence ID Popup menu.
3. switch to another view, and try to do the same operation to display reference annotation in another view.
