Provide an option that when enabled, causes a button or menu option to be shown that opens the associated tree.
Two refinements:
1. Provide a sensible API function to load a tree onto an alignment, allowing this functionality to be performed on the page.
2. Provide an api function that allows new buttons to be created arbitrarily, and javascript functions associated with them.
