      Description

      In practice, many JABAWS services have only a single 'further_details' URL associated with them - possibly with a range of within-document anchors allowing specific parts of the documentation to be viewed.

      In the case of a single URL for one or more parameters, Jalview should provide an additional entry in the webservices menu that allows the URL for a service to be opened directly. If there are multiple URLs with the same base document root, the base document root should be provided as a global URL for the service 's documentation.

      The 'service documentation URL' can also be used to annotate any results generated by the service, enabling the user to find out more about the method that generated the data they are examining.
