alignment window title bar can disappear under the desktop menu bar on OS X

      Description

      Window area bounds can be set incorrectly for dragging alignment windows around the screen, so the title bar of an alignment window is obscured by the menu bar of the Desktop, and the alignment window cannot be moved any more.

      a work around is to create a new view with ^T, expand the views, and drag that view down, and then gather the views again and finally delete the new view.
