loading features via javascript API automatically enables feature display

It is occasionally useful to load features onto an alignment without modifying the current feature display settings, however, the loadAnnotation function automatically enables the display of features if new features are added to the alignment.

A new API method is needed to allow feature data to be added without affecting the alignment view state.
