pasted region containing hidden columns is incorrectly displayed in new alignment window

E.g.
>aa/1-16
aaaaa-aaaaaaaaaaa
>a/1-19
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hide all but a few columns before the end of the first sequence, and try to select beyond the last few columns. If this region is copy/pasted, the new alignment's visible column set will be incorrect (usually, nothing is shown at all! - but unhiding the columns reveals that the region was copied successfully).
