Description
When Jalview launches, it runs a launcher programme (either getdown or jalview.bin.Launcher) which runs a java command with memory setting (and possibly HiDPI) arguments (since these cannot be performed in the running JVM).
In recent versions of macOS this has led to the running icon in the Dock have the name "java". In earlier versions of macOS this could be corrected by the running JVM, but this no longer works and there does not appear to be a replacement.
In KDE, when Jalview is open along with another window (e.g. Java Console), whilst both individual windows appear in the taskbar with the correct name, the grouped name they get is "java".
By adding a symlink "Jalview" (or even "Jalview Develop") pointing at the java executable, both of these problems are resolved.
