Description
First observed with a wide nucleotide alignment (>100,000 residues), and only seems to happen when a threshold line is displayed.
1. Import a wide alignment (e.g. sars-cov2 sequence or daffodil chloroplast).
2. Select the 'By Annotation' colourscheme with a 'below threshold' condition and hit OK.
3. Open the overview, first click on the left, and then click on the right hand side to cause the view to jump from far left to far right of the alignment.
Depending on the width of the alignment, Jalview becomes unresponsive for a shorter or longer period of time. Clicking back to the left hand side doesn't cause this hang, but clicking again to the extreme right causes the hang.
