Description
Umbrella issue for adding support for 3D-Beacons in Jalview, facilitated by an ERASMUS+ internship supporting [~agucciardi].
Principle aims are:
- add the ability to discover, browse and retrieve available experimental and in-silco models for regions in Uniprot sequences
- view model quality scores and provide automatic selection of the best model(s) for regions of interest for a set of Uniprot sequences
- take advantage of 3D-Beacons API developments to improve functionality for Jalview users (e.g. biological assemblies, template/target alignment retrieval, etc)
- Examine and addresss critical issues related to working with in-silico models in Jalview
