"Make groups from selection" from a column selection doesn't always ignore hidden columns

1. Hide the 2nd and 4th column of the example alignment.
2. Select the first two visible columns.
3. Apply Selection->'Make groups for Selection'

Mousing over the resultant groups shows that positions in the hidden regions were also used to create the groups.
