Description
My laptop flairs up in an instant the moment I have two or more submitted alignment jobs with another window of the alignment. The fans are on full and my laptop gets extremely hot. I have a feeling those spinning Jalview logos on the windows after submitting the jobs demand a lot of memory somehow. Perhaps just have fixed logos with a large printed text saying 'Submitted successfully', 'In Progress', and 'Complete' should suffice perhaps? Cannot submit more than two alignment jobs without slowing down everything in Jalview. Impossible to clear or minimise windows without waiting for a while for things to respond and/or catch up with my cursor.
