Description
With both a release version of Jalview and a test version of Jalview Local installed in Windows 10, after uninstalling the Jalview Local application, file associations of a test.jvp file had gone completely. These were restored by re-installing Jalview.
Since the Jalview release, test, develop, local etc versions of the application installers were instigated (just before 2.11.1.0 release), an installation of any two of these applications should appear to the OS as unrelated and separate, just with the same file associations (not an unusual thing). Uninstalling one should not remove the file associations of another.
I suspect this is something to do with the application identification in the uninstaller being incorrect, this issue created to remind me to take a look when time/priority permits!
