Description
Branch Jalview-JS/develop, transpiler 3.2.9-j11.
Load examples/uniref50.fa.
Drag to select a region of the alignment (it is outlined in red).
Escape key clears selection (as it should).
Selection a region, right-click, open the popup sub-menu for Selection then close it.
Escape key no longer clears the selection.
Function is restored on clicking in a different panel (e.g. a second copy of the alignment).
