Description
Whilst install4j provides user-space installation of linux, and even rudimentary deb and rpm packaging, acceptance into mainstream linux distributions will require more work.
This is desirable as it will put Jalview in default repositories and so easy to install by sysadmin. Maintenance would then be automatic for sysadmin.
Some other tweaks could be made (e.g. GTKLookAndFeel) which should improve appearance to end-users.
