      Description

      Indels appear in a number of contexts with respect to a reference sequence or profile (e.g. DNA polymorphisms or inserts/deletions with respect to a HMM). These sometimes need to be summarised (e.g. as features), but other times expanded (as regions in an alignment). This epic is a catch all for enhancements/new features concerning indels.
