Colour by Annotation goes black with 'above (min/max) threshold'

Open uniref50.fa, colour by annotation, choose Conservation, Consensus or Occupancy, Above Threshold, move slider to maximum value, and select 'Threshold is min/max'. Coloured columns turn black instead of red.
This doesn't happen with Quality, or any other combination of threshold settings.
