Overview redraws multiple times for a series of edits

Followon - import a large alignment, show the overview, and then quickly perform a few interactive edits on the alignment. The overview will continue to show 'redrawing overview' progress bars long after the edits are complete (and the overview has been updated).

Hint: if you don't see it after performing the edits, try using undo/redo - the repeated display of the overview redraw progress bar becomes very clear.
