      Description

      Load uniref50.fa, create a group, enable group consensus, right click on annotation label and 'Copy Consensus Sequence'.
      String index out of range: 0
      at java.lang.String.charAt(String.java:646)
      at jalview.datamodel.SequenceGroup.getConsensusSeq(SequenceGroup.java:1269)
      at jalview.gui.AnnotationLabels.actionPerformed(AnnotationLabels.java:301)
      ...etc...
      Can be reproduced back to Jalview 2.8.
