Tree calculation hangs when a column selection is dragged beyond the first column

Load in an alignment --> select the first bunch of columns by dragging right to left (has to be right to left) making sure that you actually drag a bit beyond the first column --> Calculate Tree or PCA --> Calculation will appear to hang ( but actually exception thrown from an error in SeqCigar - Exception in thread "Thread-25" java.lang.Error: Implementation Error: _s= -7
