Uniprot dbfetch returning errors

      Description

      Since yesterday afternoon, fetching Uniprot accessions has been failing. Jalview request:
      http://www.ebi.ac.uk/Tools/dbfetch/dbfetch/uniprotkb/P00340/uniprotxml
      gets response
      ERROR 11 Unable to connect to database [uniprotkb].

      Email sent yesterday to help@uniprot.org but no reply as yet.
