Description
Browse to a web page for a macromolecular assembly file - e.g. :
https://www.ebi.ac.uk/pdbe/entry/pdb/1qip/analysis#assembly_1
1. Drag the mmCIF file for the preferred assembly onto the Jalview desktop - the sequences are displayed with secondary structure data (if enabled in preferences).
2. Select all sequences and open the structure chooser - cached structures are shown.
3. Select all chains and view.
In Jmol, the structure is shown but no mapping is made between structure and sequence. If the file was first downloaded and then imported, mappings are made. Since the URL is actually shown in the Structure cache, the lack of a mapping is probably due to the URL aliasing mechanism not working correctly when binding Jalview's structure mappings to the Jmol model list.
