Selection -> right click -> selection->edit group->user defined colour -> cancel leaves a group defined

      Description

      Hitting cancel when specifying a user defined colourscheme for an active selection should leave the selection unchanged (and not promoted to a group on the alignment), but this is currently not the case.

      Noticed in JAL-2517
