Cancel in Feature Settings loses changes made in Amend Features

With Feature Settings dialog open, if changes are made in Amend Features - add new feature type or group, change feature colour - then Cancel in Feature Settings reverts to values before Feature Settings was opened. Specifically, any newly defined feature types are not displayed, and any changed feature colours are reset to their previous values.
