      Description

      Jalview's net-centric nature means we rely on internet resources, and have to constantly deal with link-rot. Many of the example files include full URLs which may(or already have) fail(ed) to resolve in the future.

      Arising from comments on JAL-2079 regarding new issues concerning ways in which we can spot out of date URLs in project/annotation sources and update them where necessary, this epic covers all things related to preventing link rot impacting functionality in Jalview.
