      Description

      The ability to create representative sequences is a hitherto underused feature in Jalview, since in versions prior to 2.9.2, it was only possible to manually create a sequence representative. However, they provide a natural visual idiom for working with alignments involving two or more sets of related orthologs, and also alignments of sequence profiles.

      Issues in this epic also relate to a number of inconsistencies in the way representative sequences work when hiding/revealing hidden sequences, interactive editing and working in multiple views.
