hidden column markers not always rendered at right of alignment window

Hidden column marks are not always displayed near the right hand border as the alignment window is scrolled in either direction. This was first noticed when the 'Hide insertions' feature was introduced, which allows lots of columns to be hidden automatically (e.g. in a JPred prediction view).
