Support PID calculation that matches that done by Belvu

      Description

      Pfam curators would like to replace Belvu with Jalview.
      Belvu functions used include 'Make non-redundant' which is similar but not identical to Jalview's 'Remove Redundancy'.
      In particular the PID calculation used is different (and has two variants in Belvu).
      Assess whether a change is needed to make Jalview 'more like Belvu' - or if this is not needed.
