JVDialog not functioning correctly

JVDialog doesn't block for user input at the point of initialisation, hence the code which checks for user response from a JVDialog instance is always executed with the default response, and when a user eventually makes an input to the dialog, the dialog is set to invisible without utilising the user's input.
