Jalview 2.8.2 File choosers

      Description

      The recent file list available in the Open file chooser dialog is TOO narrow and it is unable to be widened. See attachment.

      The Save As window has no recent file or directories window. But it will remember where it saved last. It does support OS X feature of dragging Finder folder into window to change directories.

      Admittedly OS X doesn't support recent folders very well. I have always used the Default Folders app for this, but do not have it installed it.
