Description
Hi there,
My name is Tommy. I have been using JalView beginning this year. It is a great software to do protein alignment, which is mainly the work that I am doing at the moment.
However, recently, I am unable to use the Web Service function to do the alignment.
I got an error message window saying "URLs that could not be contacted: http://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk/jabaws"
The error also says that "It may be that you have invalid JABA URLS in your web service preferences or mis-configured HRRP proxy settings."
I have followed the instruction in the error box to check the connection and web service in the tools -> Preference dialog box.
I have also make sure that JABAWS box is checked. But nothing works.
It would be great if you can advice me on what I can do. Since it has been working fine beginning of this year, I hope this is not a major glitch in the new version.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Tommy
