Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. remove/rename any existing ~/.jalview_properties file
2. start Jalview from installAnywhere
3. hit cancel on the 'google analytics' prompt, close news window, and select Window->Close All after example file is loaded.
4. drag any simple alignment file onto the desktop window
5. click on a sequence and press up/down or left/right arrow keys.
If another window is opened and then closed from within the desktop, then the arrow keys begin to work again.
Note: this behaviour is NOT observed with the Webstart version of Jalview.
