Hi,
I've just installed Jalview 2.8 using InstallAnywhere, on Mac OSX 10.5.8. The input and output work fine with the main menu, but the alignment viewer window cannot write out files.
I found these errors popping out in the console
ERROR: uk.ac.vamsas.client.simpleclient.Lock - Error! Problems with IO when creating a lock on /Users/trang/.vamsas/sessions.obj.lck
and these kinds of error in the top of output.txt (which is 180MB)

Error reading properties file: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /Users/trang/.jalview_properties (No such file or directory)
Jalview Version: 2.8

I've found those files (lock files and .jalview_properties) and they have permission to read and write for the current user. Do you have any suggestion about the possible cause and how to fix the problem? I think it is likely a problem specific to my machine but don't know where to start.
