Cannot deselect a column

      Description

      [CTRL]+select to toggle a column's selection status doesn't deselect a column, although [CTRL]+select does deselect sequence IDs.

      This surprises/frustrates some - although the reason Jalview doesn't support this is because Jalview doesn't allow discontinuous selections, except when regions are hidden.
