loading v2.7 example file into v2.8 alpha causes structure to change colour for each view

      Description

      loading the example file at http://www.jalview.org/examples/exampleFile_2_7.jar into the alpha codebase results in the structure colouring being corrupted, since it gets coloured by each new view each time the view is created and associated.
