choosing fonts without letter symbols defined causes exceptions and redraw errors

Picking a font like Migueto (see www.fatfonts.org) which has no letter symbols causes jalview to throw redraw exceptions because the width of 'M' and 'I' are zero for this font. The font dialog box should warn and otherwise prevent the user from picking invalid fonts for use with alignment data.
