Description
Jalview 2 has a relatively simple filechooser model which only provides access to a list of recent files.
Better support for OS-specific file browsing, and other kinds of file IO operations call for additional features such as 'recent locations' and 'favourite locations' - some of which can be discovered by querying the current operating environment (e.g. windows' list of recent files, virtual folders, etc). Support for web/cloud filesystems also requires customisation.
