The mismatch between the symbol shown in the alignment annotation panel for conservation values of + and * and the numbers shown in the tooltip for the conservation row is confusing.
The '+' and '*' need to be mentioned explicitly in the documentation. The visual format of the conservation row could also be revised to help new users understand the symbols better.
